De Haagse Popweek is terug! Op 15 oktober vindt een nieuwe editie plaats van SOS met als thema Feminist Punk. Be there!
De Haagse Popweek is terug! Negen dagen lang, van 14 t/m 22 oktober, staat Den Haag volledig in het teken van Haagse popmuziek! Optredens, workshops, evenementen, speeddates en popprijzen waarin de Haagse muzikanten centraal staan.
Tijdens de Haagse Popweek zijn in diverse cafés in Den Haag, gratis optredens van bands en artiesten bij te wonen. Gezellige live optredens van tientallen bands op minstens zoveel verschillende locaties verspreid door de stad! En alsof dat allemaal nog niet genoeg is, vindt er ook nog de jaarlijkse uitreiking van de Haagse Popprijzen plaats: Sounds On Saturday is genomineerd voor “Beste initiatief”.

PROVO
This is PROVO. An emerging band from The Hague inspired by punk, rock and grunge music. The first few songs are a fact and besides the covers, Provo is busy with their own material.
L’Orne
L’Orne is a band from Rotterdam, born from the creative duo consisting of Duif Akkerhuis and Quincy Fortes. They combine art-rock with influences of genres like triphop, post-rock, ambient, slowcore and noise! Together with their live band to back them up, they’ll drown your ears in a mellow pillow of melancholia. L’orne are storytellers, tearjerksers and lovers.
Bleedroot
Bleedroot is a 4-headed band from Den Haag with influences from the 80’s and 90’s grunge and riot grrrl scene (L7, Slutever, Legal Weapon) Ready to play and revive the genre with songs that change from raw and energetic, to heavy and vulnerable. With a big dose of feminism, a teaspoon of punk and a pinch of salt they’re ready to take over the stage.
