Haagse Popweek X Connect Mix Showcase Nights X Jam & Juice
Op donderdag 13 oktober presenteren wij tijdens de Haagse Popweek: Showcase Nights X Jam & Juice. Een unieke combinatie van showcases van artiesten en later op de avond een open-mic sessie. Dit wil je niet missen!
De Haagse Popweek is terug! Negen dagen lang, van 14 t/m 22 oktober, staat Den Haag volledig in het teken van Haagse popmuziek! Op donderdag 13 oktober presenteren wij de Connect & Mix Showcase Nights MEETS Jam & Juice Session. Van 19.30 – 21.00 uur kun je genieten van optredens van veelbelovende acts zoals Lights on the Lake, Adorah & Harm. Vanaf 21 uur wordt het podium vrijgemaakt voor de Jam & Juice sessie, jonge en net beginnende artiesten zijn welkom.
DEEL I | SHOWCASE NIGHTS

ADORAH
Adorah is a R&B artist and singer/songwriter living in Rotterdam with Cuban roots. She’s been writing songs from the age of fourteen, with a desire to make living of her passion. In 2020 she was nominated for “best track 2020” with her song “supposed too”. On the 14th of January she released her debut album “1111”and will be performing with the Keys Collective band on the Connect & Mix Showcase Nights.

LIGHTS ON THE LAKE (LOLT)
Lights on the Lake is an indie/soul band from the Hague, created by Thomas and Elise.
They write songs with danceable rhythms, flute, harmonised vocals and a dreamy and seventies inspired sound. They’re in the middle of finishing their new recordings and are looking forward to sharing their material with the Keys Collective band on the Connect & mix Showcase Nights!

HARM
Harm is a passionate lyricist and student of the game. He uses his diverse background and mix of languages to express consciousness through rap lyrics. On the 10th of October he will release his EP “Efimero”. Harm is The Hague based and appeals national and international with his smooth flow and energetic deliverance. DEEL II | JAM & JUICE JAMSESSION
21.00 – 23.00
JAM & JUICE is een jamsessie waarbij urban live muziek wordt gecombineerd met taal in de breedste zin van het woord. Jonge en net beginnende en meer ervaren artiesten, uit het urban circuit en daarbuiten, zijn welkom op het podium.
De aansluiting tussen Jam & Juice jamsession en Connect & Mix Showcase Nights is dat beide concepten worden begeleid door de Keys Collective band o.l.v. John Keys. De Showcase Nights draait vooral om artiesten met eigen materiaal. Hiermee is een doorgroeimogelijkheid gemaakt. De artiesten zonder eigen materiaal of band ervaring beginnen eerst bij de jamsessie in het café en kunnen daarna op de Showcase Nights in de grote zaal zichzelf met eigen materiaal en live band presenteren.
